Printing Tips

Now that you’ve downloaded your set of cropped photos it’s time to print.  To make sure your pictures stay teeny it’s important to select the right print setting or the right program.

The downloaded image will be a 4″ x 6″ image, just like the size of a regular photograph.  If you are printing on 8.5″ x 11″ paper, rather than 4″ x 6″ photo quality paper, take a moment to review the tips below before printing.  If in doubt, try a “print preview” before you print.

Many popular photo printing wizards such as Windows XP and ARC SOFT will automatically open when you double click on your picture to view it.

The printing wizards will default to a 8″ x 10″ or 8.5″ x 11″ page size. Just scroll down and select the 4″ x 6″ print option so your pictures will print out at the right size.  If you forget to select the 4″ x 6″ print option you will notice that your pictures are way too big and that’s just no fun.
