Paper Choices
Choosing the right paper is an important step toward making your mini prints look their best.
Ink Jet Standard
Standard glossy paper is a good choice if using an ink jet printer. Using plain paper will produce a fuzzy little picture. Make sure to set your print quality to the highest settings before printing for the best results.
Ink Jet Waterproof
Waterproof paper is crazy good stuff. You could drop your photo key chain into a koi pond and it will be good as new when you retrieve it.
Epson and Hewlett Packard both make waterproof papers for ink jets. Even the 4 x 6 paper for Kodak Easy Share printers is waterproof!
Color Laser Printers
If possible use a high quality, bright white paper if using a color laser printer. Using glossy paper (especially for laser printers) can make a big difference but it’s pricey. To be honest, regular paper tends to work pretty darn good with lasers.
Avoiding Water Damage
Some papers will be more susceptible to water damage than others. All Memory Maker products come with little plastic covers to protect your pictures from the occasional rain drop or baby’s bath tub splash. We even give you a few extras in case one flies away like a pesky contact lense.
